How to Migrate Your Shopify Products to SquarespaceLast Updated: May 10, 2019
Step 1: Log In to Your Shopify Account
Head on over to Shopify and click "Log In."
Once you're all logged in, you'll be on the main Shopify dashboard.
Step 2: Navigate to Your Products
From the dashboard, click "Products" in the left-hand navigation menu.
Step 3: Export Your Products
Once you're in the Products section of Shopify, you can click "Export."
If you'd like to export all of your products at once, choose "All Products."
Once you're happy with your selection, make sure to save as a "CSV File for Excel" and then hit the "Export" button.
Shopify will then send you an email containing that spreadsheet. Once you have downloaded that spreadsheet from your email, you can proceed to the next step.
Step 4: Upload Your Products to Squarespace
Log in to Squarespace, and navigate to your website dashboard. Then go to Settings > Advanced > Import/Export and then hit the Import Button.
From here, you want to choose "Shopify" from the pop-up menu and then click "Select File" to open your file browser. Navigate to the .csv file you got from Shopify, and once you've uploaded the file, click "Begin Import."
Then Squarespace will get to work on importing your content! Depending on how many products you're importing, it could take anywhere from a couple minutes to a couple hours.
Step 5: Organize Your Products
Once Squarespace has finished importing your products, they'll all exist under a new "Imported Products" Shop page in the Not Linked section of your website. You can either rename the page and start editing your products, or you can move those products to another Shop page on your site.
